As one of the Eye Institute’s cataract surgeons, Dr. Jorgensen performs both toric and multifocal intraocular lens implantation. He also has experience in a wide variety of micro-invasive glaucoma surgeries and holds a special interest in cutting-edge glaucoma treatments and combined cataract and glaucoma surgery.
After receiving his B.A. BS in Biology and Minor in Chemistry, Dr. Jorgensen obtained his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. He then completed his internship at the University of Utah Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency at the John A. Moran Eye Center. He is a fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeon, having completed his fellowship at John A. Moran Eye Center.
